Groups support our mission by volunteering in our resale stores, preparing and serving meals to our clients, helping to maintain the cleanliness of our facility, and more. Maximum group size varies from 5-8 based on the activity.

Volunteer with RCC!
Our Individual Volunteers work in all facets of the agency: administration, shelter services, youth services, resale, hotline, maintenance, medical accompaniment, community outreach, and more. All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Volunteers ages 14 to 17 must have parental consent on their Volunteer Application. Ages 14 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult while volunteering. How to become an Individual Volunteer:
STEP 1: Submit a Volunteer Application by clicking to the right
*All volunteer applicants ages 18 and older will need to pass a background check prior to volunteering.
STEP 2: Speak with RCC's Volunteer Coordinator
Once you've submitted a Volunteer Application, our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you to chat about your interests and begin to determine which volunteer opportunities could be right for you.
STEP 3: Attend Volunteer Orientation
Generally offered once a month, Volunteer Orientation goes in-depth on everything you need to know to get started as an RCC Volunteer. Some opportunities require additional training - explore our Volunteers Opportunities for more details.
