About the event
The Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc. (RCCGC) proudly presents our 3rd Annual Educational Luncheon Fundraiser—our largest fundraising event of the year. This inspiring gathering raises critical support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking, while uniting our community in the mission to end violence.
This year’s luncheon will feature the moving story of Gabby Petito, a vibrant 22-year-old whose adventurous spirit and cross-country van trip captured the nation’s attention. In 2021, Gabby’s life was tragically cut short when she was murdered by her intimate partner, a crime that sparked international conversations about the dangers of coercive control and intimate partner violence. Her legacy continues to drive awareness, prevention, and meaningful change.
